Presbyterian Ladies’ College (PLC), Joan Montgomery Centre

The Joan Montgomery Centre officially opened in March, a state-of-the-art sports, aquatic, and fitness facility that will serve nearly 1,700 girls from ELC to Year 12. This new complex replaces the original PE Centre and beloved Aquatic Centre, providing modern amenities to meet the diverse needs of students at Presbyterian Ladies’ College, Melbourne.

The Joan Montgomery Centre features 3 versatile basketball courts adaptable for badminton, netball, and volleyball. It boasts a 50-metre, eight-lane swimming pool, a learn-to-swim pool, diving towers, and seating for 400 visitors. The facility also includes a gymnasium and spin room, along with multipurpose spaces for aerobics, dance, relaxation, table tennis, and class teaching. Staff areas, collaborative meeting spaces, and an underground car park complete this comprehensive facility.

Vision is proud to have illuminated this project. Our dedicated project team worked closely with architects, builders, and electricians to design and implement a lighting solution that perfectly suits the Centre’s diverse needs. With extensive customisation involved, we have delivered a lighting system that enhances the facility’s functionality and aesthetic appeal.
